Dr. Daniel Gilkey is the founder of FXN Performance Therapy, where the mission is to help individuals move better, feel stronger, and truly understand what’s going on with their bodies.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Community Health from The Ohio State University, along with a minor in Spanish. Following that, he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Gilkey later advanced his clinical knowledge by completing the Fellowship of Applied Functional Science® (FAFS) through The Gray Institute—a program recognized by some of the top therapists and elite trainers in professional sports.
He also received certifications in Dry Needling from Myopain Seminars and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy from Owen’s Recovery Science. These specialized tools help patients achieve pain relief, optimize performance, and return to the activities they love without limitations
Dr. Gilkey’s passion lies in identifying the true source of a patient’s dysfunction, educating them on how it impacts daily life and mobility, and guiding them toward pain resolution and long-term success. When not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jazmin; staying active with CrossFit; and cheering on his favorite sports teams. Go Buckeyes and Bengals!
Dr. Delaney Willingham is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida. She further advanced her clinical training by completing a sports physical therapy residency.
Delaney has competed in Olympic weightlifting for more than 10 years and is a two-time national medalist. As both a sports physical therapist and competitive athlete, she understands how frustrating it can be when pain or injury keeps you from training and performing at your best. She specializes in working with barbell athletes and has extensive experience in strength and conditioning, sports rehabilitation, and helping athletes safely return to training and competition. This background allows her to bridge the gap between traditional physical therapy and higher-level performance.
Delaney is passionate about identifying the factors holding each person back and creating an individualized plan to address them. Her goal is not only to help patients get out of pain, but also to give them the knowledge, strength, and confidence to continue progressing long after physical therapy ends.
Outside the clinic, Delaney enjoys weightlifting, spending time with her dog, Biscuit, trying new restaurants, and frequently being frustrated by her favorite sports teams. Go Jags and San Francisco Giants!

Don’t just chase pain—understand it.
We begin with a thorough assessment to identify the true source of pain or limitation. By combining movement analysis, clinical testing, and a deep dive into your history, we pinpoint hidden imbalances that hold you back.
Resolve pain. Rebuild movement.
Next, we tackle pain head-on while restoring your ability to move freely. Through manual therapy, corrective exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, we help you step out of discomfort and into functional daily movement.
Train with purpose. Return with confidence.
This is where rehab meets high-level function. Whether you’re an athlete or active adult, we create a progressive plan tailored to your goals—focusing on strength, resilience, and sport-specific readiness.
Stay in the game. Stay pain-free.
Long-term success is the ultimate goal. You’ll be equipped to maintain pain-free participation in your favorite activities—now and for years to come. We’ll provide ongoing performance strategies, maintenance plans, and support so you can keep moving strong.
