Performance

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy that aligns with how you move in real life. Whether you have nagging pain, a new injury, or general movement limitations, our one-on-one sessions address your unique needs to help you move better, feel stronger, and enjoy life without pain.

Dry Needling

Think of it like a hard reset for your muscles. Dry needling targets trigger points and tight spots to reduce pain, improve mobility, and get muscles functioning at their best. It’s an effective way to break through stiffness and see instant changes in both pain and range of motion.

Myofascial
Decompression / Cupping

Cupping therapy promotes blood flow, decreases muscle tension, and boosts recovery by lifting the skin and fascia to improve circulation underneath. Ideal for loosening tight areas and enhancing overall tissue health.

IASTM / Scraping

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, often known as “scraping,” helps break up adhesions in the fascia and muscles. It’s an excellent choice for addressing persistent stiffness and restrictions that limit your range of motion.

Blood Flow

Restriction Therapy

Train smarter, not harder. BFR uses a specialized cuff to restrict blood flow during exercise, allowing you to build strength and muscle with lighter loads. Perfect for injury recovery, post-surgery rehabilitation, or simply maximizing your workout while minimizing stress on the joints.

SPORTS REHAB

Sports shouldn't hurt. Our rehabilitation approach breaks down your movement mechanics to identify issues that lead to pain or inefficiency. Whether aiming for a PR or simply wanting to enjoy your active lifestyle again, we'll guide you to move more efficiently and pain-free.

Post-Operative

Rehab

After surgery, personalized attention is crucial. With experience guiding over 500 post-op patients, we provide the focused care you need for a successful 3 to 12-month recovery. Our goal: help you return to 100% and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is each session, and will I be working directly with the therapist?

Each session is 60 minutes, one-on-one with your physical therapist. No assistants, no hand-offs.

Does dry needling hurt?

You may feel a quick pinch and some deep pressure. A slight muscle twitch is normal—it signals increased blood flow to the area. Mild soreness afterward is common and typically resolves within a day.

What is Blood Flow Restriction Therapy?

BFR uses a light cuff to limit blood flow during exercise, allowing significant strength and muscle gains with lighter loads. It’s ideal for people in recovery, as well as those looking to push past plateaus without extra stress on their body.

Do you take insurance?

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice plans. If you’re unsure whether you’re covered, contact us and we’ll help clarify.

What if I don’t have Blue Cross Blue Shield?

We offer a cash-based option for those without eligible insurance or who prefer direct payment. We also provide a superbill you can submit to your own insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes! You can use your HSA or FSA to pay for services at FXN Performance Therapy.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

Typically, you don’t need a referral for most BCBS plans. Some may require one, so we’ll help you verify before your first visit. Cash-pay clients do not need a referral.

What sets FXN Performance Therapy apart from other PT clinics?

We don’t do cookie-cutter programs or have you wait in crowded rooms. At FXN, you get a custom, performance-driven plan and direct access to your therapist for the entire session.

What can I expect at my first session?

We’ll dive into your medical history and movement patterns, then begin hands-on treatment. By session’s end, you’ll have a clear plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

What should I wear?

Comfortable athletic clothing—shorts, leggings, a t-shirt, or anything you can move freely in.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies depending on your goals, current condition, and consistency. Some see results in a few visits; others opt for ongoing performance training. We’ll map it out together.
